About an African man who spends a year in Greenland on a whim. You simply couldn't ask for a better premise for travel writing, and it delivers. You learn about two cultures you didn't know about in the strangest setting possible - the months-long freezing night of Greenland, full of blubbery drunken meals, odd friendly folk and huskies.
