really liked it

a great, thin collection of hilariously absurdist short stories that I found at a little stall on 5th Ave whilst Samantha attempted to stalk Robert De Niro. Having read many years ago Allen's collection "Without Feathers" I surmised correctly that "Mere Anarchy," along with my Irish-Sicilian traveling companion mentioned earlier, would be the perfect companion to wandering the chilly streets of New York. The free flowing Vaudevillian surealiasm is also a good thing to have in your head while suffering the indignities of US airport security. (What with the x-rays, pupil scans, and finger scans I think I may have contracted at least three forms of cancer just so I could prove to US immigration that I wasn't Al Capone.) Also "Mere Anarchy" must be up for the prize for the most mentions of Xanax outside of a medical periodical...
