This collection of short stories by Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie captures the vast cultural differences between Nigeria and life in the US.

The stories capture the injustice rampant in Nigeria, but also the sense of the beauty and culture present in this country. The stories cover a diverse range of characters - young women, old men, teens, families, couples - with settings in both Nigeria and America.
