Another great Dare! I enjoyed Bret very much - his knowing what he wanted, not giving up, and his inner struggle to do the right thing. I also loved the fact he didn't feel any need to be like other subs - he was perfectly fine in his own place being his own man. I loved how he talked to the other dominants - a nice thing for those of us who get irritated by the fact fiction books often portray a sub as having to be a "sub" for any Dom in the immediate vicinity. In reality respect is always warranted, but not every Dom in your area automatically deserves for you to treat him/her like you are his/her sub. Anyway I tend to really like Dare's writing - and thought this was a pretty good length. Of course there is no scene negotiation, no discussion of STD's and being clean, etc --- but it is fiction. In real life I doubt an experienced Dom would just play with a sub without any discussion of limits and such. It gets a bye here because I really loved their chemistry together - and, again, it's fiction :)

Angela Benedetti Wait, this is BRET? Bret from "Call Me Sir, Boy" and "All the Gear and No Clue," or whatever the title was? I just finished the second one (it was good but the first was hilarious) and have "Bret" in my mind, or I'd never have made the connection. This is the prequel, Bret's story! Why isn't this listed as part of that series??

Angie, scrambling to buy this one
