This is a fantastic book. In the middle of the panic for the swine flu, reading this books made me in some ways more paranoid, because damn are human beings lousy. We're just.. so afraid, and so selfish, and it takes a lot of crap to get us to work together and hold it together and it's scary how all the socio-political scenarios from this book are so plausible.

The zombies are scary. The narrative is amazing, it touches a lot of nerves, it made me wonder, a lot, about where we might end when things get heavy -they will eventually get heavy again, I mean, it's only a matter of time.

I must read this book again later. It's really a great recount of how we can suck a lot, and how we can turn the tide, and how, sometimes, humans are just amazing. A++
