Another great from Kirino, this novel explores the social cliches inside a girls prep school and some motivations that might lead women to prostitution. Also to a lesser extent some of the pathology behind incest. Though going through the various narratives was at times long, it was always engaging. Through the intimacy of her prose, she keeps the reader feeling they have an inside tract on the true story, so much so that things like cult murders, and headline abstractions seem secondary to what is actually happening.
