When you’re trying to catch a crazy man with a bomb big enough to blow up a whole country, there is only one way to do it. You use a teenager named Alex Rider. The book is about Alex and how the CIA needs his help to catch a man named Sarov. The CIA sends him to the island skeleton key with two agents who are supposed to be his mom and dad. They venture around the island while Alex has to sit in the hotel room because they don’t want him to get hurt. But he is very smart and know they won’t look like a family if they leave without him every day so he goes to find them .I don’t want to ruin the book so I wont go into great detail. The whole rest of the book is about his struggles to try and find the bomb and stop them from blowing it up.
The book was really well written, it was action packed. Every single page had something interesting going on. But I don’t think that it compares to the other books in the series. It just wasn’t as exciting as the other books but it was still pretty good. I recommend it to any guy or girl who is into lots of fighting and action
