It's a pretty standard Meg Cabot book featuring a quintessential Cabot heroine - Lizzie's an enormous idiot, but a sweet one. I spent the first half of the book desperately wishing to slap the girl - one night spent making out with a guy, and then three months of emails and rare phone calls, and you're naming your kids? really? It got old very fast, especially when it took about two paragraphs of her actually interacting with Andy to make it clear that he was a sleazeball.

And (I know, I know) the title is Queen of Babble, but do real people actually sit down next to a stranger and blurt out their deepest, most embarrassing secrets? Honestly, Meg.

All that said, it was a fun book, and I plan on reading the rest of the series. I just wish Cabot would give me a more realistic character to work with one of these days.
