    <body><![CDATA[The book started out with a bang.  There was purpose, a sound story and even an exciting masquerade ball.  About half-way through, the story fizzled and I had to quit reading.  I think it was obvious that this book was Robert Löhr's first novel.  Based on this book, I probably wouldn't read any more of his work.  ]]></body>
