Second book the the Ripple Creek werewolf series and this one does have some similarities to the first book featuring Neva and Duncan. The book blurb above is basically the entire story.

Savannah is a ranger on the reservation who is investigating a couple of murders that seem to be a echo of the ones from her past. A past she doesn't want to relive, but which comes back along with Cade, someone she loved and ran away from 10 years ago and who used her as a contact to solving those previous crimes.

Now they both have to solve these murders where the bad guys blame them for everything going ass up 10 years ago and which at present are aimed at destroying their lives and all close to them. Not to mention the attraction that these two have for each other. That was the one weird bit in the book. We get the impression that these are strong characters but with each other they seem to act like horny teenagers on a mission.
But its a nice quick read. I started reading this online when i came to work this morning and now 8 hours later i'm done. And a half hour later i'll be leaving for home.

All in all, a very good day indeed.
