Wow, what a great squirm-inducing book! As the title implies, there are a great number of scenes that include decomposing bodies and the insects that inhabit them. The villain is truly icky - never trust anybody with a human body-sized fish cooler in his boat. Heroine Kay Scarpetta gets into & out of a few too many Rambo like scrapes and escapes for my taste in this one. But still a good beach read. Don't read in the dark if you're at all squeamish!
