really liked it

Years ago I, like so many Star Wars fans, grew tired of the New Jedi Order books. They lacked the fun and adventure that made Star Wars so special. They were so bleak and depressing that I stopped reading the Legacy Era completely. Luke, Leia, Han and the characters I'd loved ever since my sister and brother-in-law took my niece and I to the movies way back in 1977 had grown stale and uninteresting.

So it was with some mild trepidation that I tried Outcast.

This book just rocked. These were the characters I loved acting like the characters I loved.

This was adventuresome.
This was fun.
This was exciting.
This was good.

And most importantly, this was Star Wars.

Here's hoping the rest of the series retains the fun and adventure.
