Apparently I liked Anne Rice a lot! Nice to read a book that wasn't 'to be coninued'. She's cornered the market on almost every scary monster in the horror genre excluding wearwolves and frankenstein. As always there's a nice glimpse of history combined with a great story. She always seems to combine the erotic and the scary very well, without going too overboard in either direction. The inner conflict of her characters truly gives them the human quality anyone should relate to.
