did not like it
Read in July, 2006

Lots of people seem to like this novel by Ray Bradbury. I find it overwritten, pompous, empty, pseudo-intellectual, tedious, repetitive, amateurish and just generally ludicrous in narrative terms from beginning to end. I love lots of other Bradbury writing, I think the man is one of the great geniuses of American letters. But I believe the emperor has no effin' clothes in this case.
