This is the very first book I've read by this author and definitely will not be the last. Ready for the next book in the series. The main point I took from this book is that a pastor could lead his church blindly, you have to take care of home as well as the church body (flock). This was a valuable lesson learned by Rev. Simon Jackson, and lost the person special to him to realize it. There is a passage in the Bible that speaks it is foolish not to take care of home and say you are doing the will of GOD (such as being a pastor). I can't wait to see what plays out in the next book.

*This may not be Christian Fiction, even author doesn't label it as so, but was so close to be such yet with some profanity and intimate scenes--this is why the author prefers not to label it in this genre. However, what is it then, inspirational drama?

*I heard this is where the movie, "Joyful Noise" came from...
