I had hopes for this book based on the reviews but it just didn't deliver in any way. I didn't like the writing and I didn't think it was a well developed storyline either. None of the characters were likable, we were not given any reason to like or relate to them, and the entire storyline ended up being a thinly veiled romance story. I feel like she just threw away the entire storyline, as if we shouldn't have bothered caring about the "plot" as long as there was some sort of redemption with the characters love lives. I was all in all disappointed with it, from start to finish. It was readable, in that I didn't toss it and actually read it cover to cover, but it wasn't enjoyable, in my opinion.
