This is a very mature book, I recommend only for 18+ readers. It has many mature themes, dealing with violence, rape, and gore. It is about a warrior on a journey, and he helps a sprite escape from a bunch of bandits. He claims that its no good to follow him, and that it would be their own fault if they did. Because he is marked, making him a target of demons. I found that this is a very sad book, it's pretty darn depressing, but there is some comic relief. It gets really interesting later on. I would just try to get all the volumes.
