it was amazing
bookshelves: ideal-philosophy, myth-and-symbology, spirituality
Read in January, 1976

This is another book from the excellent Shrine of Wisdom publications. When it came out in 1953 there were not the volume of Gita translations that now exist. However, this is unique to this day in the sense that it is organised around clear themes: Sri Krishna is one chapter and then the five key Margas or Paths of Hinduism provide the organisation for the rest of the book. The excellent commentaries provided by the book's editors elucidate this wonderful spiritual classic.
