A good book. Before the story opens, a young woman, Daisy, was jilted by her finance so she opens a second-hand boutique that sells bridal gowns. However, she cannot bring herself to sell her own gown. Her shop is on the main floor of a small apt. building, which she also manages. She keeps a history on every dress she sells and she sews a blue satin heart into each one, which has been blessed by a priest. Daisy keeps a journal where she "talks out" all her choices and decisions. The characters who live in the building are a little quirky, but interesting. There's a musician, a photographer, a seamstress and the retired priest. It's a nice story about friends who are there for each other.
