really liked it
bookshelves: mystery

A romantic roller coaster of a mystery novel. Superbly paced and expertly crafted, Zafon weaves together his characters and stories like a fine tapestry. It took me about 100 pages to really get into it but once I did, I couldn't put it down. I found the characters believable and fascinating especially Fermin, the kind of literary sidekick who surpasses the main protagonist in pure panache. A totally satisfying read.

Michelle Can't wait to hear what you think of this book. It was a slow start for me, but I ended up REALLY liking it.

Marvin It's a little slow for me too. I'm only on page 43. But it has promise.
