did not like it
bookshelves: youngadult
Read in January, 2006

I read this for a project in a young adult lit class. I thought this book sounded like it could be great, I liked the vampire/diabetes theory. However, I was disappointed in the one-dimensional way it portrayed the gothy kids and it's moralistic tone. The ending was a little too "go comformity!" for me.

Miriam I enjoyed it until the ending, which I thought was a total cop-out.

Tanya Me too it was very nice till she dyed her hair

message 3: by Sarah (new) - added it

Sarah I read this book when I was in middle school, I guess, and I remember being more in love with the concept of the story (vampire/diabetes theory) more than the characters or plot... I've been looking for it again, to reread it, so maybe now that I'm an adult I can see it in a different light - or it might just not be as good as I remember! :P
