Eh, again I was lukewarm about this installment in the Hitchhiker series. It was too normal with too little wit and satire. The entire thing with no Zaphod and Trillian and with Ford and Marvin very sparingly just didn't seem like a proper installment.

My view may be clouded because of these expectations and it may be a perfectly fine stand alone work but, in terms of the series, I was disappointed with the largely dry normality and the uninventive, run of the mill quality of the story.
