I like Mitch Albom's style, its unpretentious, simple and effective. I ended reading it in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. I loved this book, in fact I adored it. There were a few lessons in this book for me and a few lines that stood out to me like neon signs. The only problem I had with this book was that I was irritated that Eddie's dads abuse of him as a child was somehow redeemed in his last heroic action before dying...how did his dad saving someone else help to make Eddie forgive him for the years and years of abuse??? Maybe I missed the point on that one.
