Wiji Thukul is an Indonesian political poet, he involuntarily disappeared during the transition of Soeharto's regime to the "reformasi order", nobody knows where he is now. His poetic style is socialist-realist in Marxian literary genre.
What I like the most about his poems is his "pride" of being a marginalized man in growing capitalist society like Jakarta.
He finds that by being a poor & politically incorrect man, he can gain access to authentic life, which is a life positioned on the edge of death perpetually, Nietzsche says that this is the most exciting kind of life, living dangerously.
"before the night says good night
before the grave says "welcome"
I say good morning to needy life
