Jack Reacher's an anomaly. He's homeless but he has access to money. He has no family and apparently no friends yet he gets people to pretty much do whatever he asks. He spent 13 years in the military but he has no contacts. So it's truly amazing how he solves this "locked door" mystery. His thought processes are brilliant and he's unbelievably ballsy.

Gone Tomorrow has an intriguing conspiracy involving a Senate-hopeful, the FBI, the DOD, terrorists and a seemingly innocent civilian Pentagon worker. It's edge-of-your-seat exciting and very suspenseful. Excellent.
