This book is aimed at teenagers and young adults looking to secure their first job, but I think it's also a good refresher for anyone looking for a new job or reentering the job force. It covers the basics such as how to determine which job is best for you, how to find jobs online, how to prepare a resume and cover letter and what questions to ask during an interview. The book also lists various reference books (many I had never heard of!) that can help applicants narrow their career choices and expand their opportunities. I was disappointed in the chapter devoted to people with disabilities. I think the information was too vague and more condescending than encouraging. It didn't even discuss how to talk to an employer about your disability or request needed accommodations.
