A wonderful look at what has been deemed the "path to happiness" throughout history. Haidt looks at traditional and modern definitions and adds modern research about the physiology of happiness and positive emotions that really made me think about myself and my life. I was sorry to learn that he considers himself an atheist when so much of what he espouses applies to religion as well. A very enlightening read.
