Is it an antagonism to say I loved this book (and the whole series) but at the same time I hope the author will never write a sequel?! Let Joe Pitt rest in peace, wherever he may be - he definitely earned it.
This last sequel collects all main characters of the previous books for a thorough clean up, with Joe Pitt in the midst as usual. Sometimes being the punchbag, sometimes the one to deliver, and hard. And though he has to take some severe blows again, he's always in control of how things are going. Personal damage along the way is taken without batting an eye, and even seems to be well calculated.
And with a 'happily ever after' this book delivers a worthy ending to a great series.
