Andrea Kane has hit the high bar again with her follow up of Sloan Burbank
and Derek Parker in “Drawn In Blood”. A great ride that has a combination
of mystery with sharp edged suspense.
The story consists of something more than revenge; it is a plot that consists
of retribution and punishment given out in very precise dosage, using the
weaknesses and foibles of the supporting characters as well as the main
players. This reader sometimes has trouble with plots that consist of many
characters but Andrea Kane has managed to tie it in a well cohesive storyline.
With byzantine- like conspiracies, a struggling romantic relationship and
add a measure of international intrigue the author has produced
a book that is well worth picking up.
