It has been quite some years since I read this book. A book that I have been calling a favorite since I was 14. And a book that I'm sure I will continue to call a favorite forever.

Its perfect gothic, romance, drama. The characters are infuriating, unlikeable, but oh so compelling. It is a clever, fluid read, once you pick it up you can't put it down.
I always feel that Nelly is never given a suitable amount of respect. She is one of my favorite character/narrators, so easily overlooked for the intense, high drama of Heathcliff and Cathy.
