I liked this book a lot - it was fast paced, and an interesting look, but for 2 things... first, I couldn't get behind Elijah Baley in this book, and second, unfortunately, a lot of the sci-fi parts seem to be outdated. The first prediction, that 8 Billion people would have a hard time living on the planet and would be forced to eat mostly yeast grown foods, is a little bit of a low estimate by today's standards (in the 1950s, it must have seemed VAST, but given the fact we covered 1/2 the distance in 50 years, it doesn't seem like it will go this way) and that nothing was digital, all things were on film... it got in the way a little bit of enjoying the book.

Overall, the story was excellent (and yet another model for MANY books to follow), but minor points dragged my attention away.
