bookshelves: drama
Recommended for: the bitter, the snarky, and those who enjoy a good fight
Read in June, 1996

my favorite play, without a doubt. i have read this at least five times and got to see it performed this spring, and each time something new occurs to me, a phrase changes its underlying meaning, george or martha (or even their guests) are clarified. its anger and manipulation are brilliant. i loves it.
