really liked it

Brightwell promised is a wedding, and she did not promise in vain! And still includes all the fun we are used to.

Christine Ooooooo! Do you think Betsy and Smythe will FINALLY be getting hitched?!?! (Because I think I'm going to scream if I have to read one more explanation about how they're "engaged, but too devoted to solving the mysteries")

Elizabeth S I have to admit, I get sick of authors "having" to arrange things so the series can continue. It is kinda like TV shows "having" to arrange things so actors that are not going to stay can leave the series. I agree that the "we love solving mysteries too much to get married" wears thin very fast. But I do love the series!

Minor spoiler alert-> Emily Brightwell did promise a wedding. But she did not say who's. I can think of several possible combinations, including unknown characters.
