I read this book because my mom, along with everyone else at my church, told me I should. I found it a bit too wordy, some pages could have been written with a paragraph, but it wasn't horrible. The story was very tricky for a reader like me. I kept trying to guess what was going to happen next and I was never right. It is a very interesting approach to the Trinity, which is a complex concept. The book is not overly religious like it is perceived to be either. I think that the idea that this novel is super religious is a put off to many readers who should give it a chance. 1
