This is much better than the movie (and I thoroughly enjoyed the film). Satrapi is able to expand further upon the history of Iran in this medium. Nonetheless, it's a quick, fun read. I expect to finish reading it today (I borrowed it yesterday). I'm only just getting into the graphic novel genre, but I would place this near the Maus series in historical significance, plot development and overall imaginative realization.
