Ties creativity to spirituality and meditative practice. The prologue tells the Christian story of creation from a very Eastern point-of-view (God and "the serpent" are actually on the same team... really interesting...) Each chapter details a different part of the cycle of creation--how each stage bears different gifts and contributes to the whole. Each chapter also guides you in a creative exercise that allows you to reflect on each stage of the cycle. This book helps one explore the connection between body and spirit (which I think is awesome!)The author is a watercolor artist, so the book is full of her works--beautiful, splashes of color!
I'm planning on reading each chapter and reflecting on each stage of the cycle to learn more about my spiritual life as an artist. :)
