Read in December, 2012

I like Jocelynn Drake's writing style and her characters. She got a lot done in this, the first book of the series.

However, I had a couple of problems with the storyline...
1. A couple of times the fact that Gage had trained in two types of martial arts was brought up, but in his fights he used standard fight moves.
2. Bronx mentioned throwing customers through the windows because Gage was jealous, not expanded on in the body of the book enough to really warrant adding that in. Also... Throwing people through plate glass windows would have resulted in some heinous injuries and probably a couple of deaths, you don't go through glass like in the movies, its ugly.
3. Gage was supposed to find a solution for Trixie's little problem with the summer court... No resolution by the end of the book.
4. Gage and Trixie jumped in bed WAY to quick... Should have waited several installments into the series for that, it would have been one more thing to look forward to.

Things I wish she'd have included...
1. Background on Sofia
2. Background on Trixie
3. Background on Bronx
4. Background on Simon (what turned him into such a douche bag)

All in all, it was good for the beginning of a new series, I will read the next one.
