really liked it
bookshelves: juvenile-non-fiction, juvenile-biographies

Very good biography of the early life of Sam Clemens aka Mark Twain. There is a brief chapter on his life as a successful older man and an interesting insight on how he went from a cynical but humorous writer to a bitter domestic tyrant in his old age. Not Fleischman's best work but interesting none the less.
