This is a book that will get you through a move. It is a story of love, pain, revenge and adventure. Just when you think things are a little stressful in your own life, you turn to the book about Joe and Fee and conclude that things could be alot worse. Watching where fear, loyalty, revenge and ambition takes Fiona keeps you wrapped up in the story as she rises above her roots to be a solid force in the tea trade. For those that are looking for an escapist thick read for the summer, I would recommend this.

Gail I'll be anxious to hear how you liked it, Patty. I am reading a Kindle download called "Becoming" which I am enjoying a lot. It is an unlikely pick for me but that is what is fun-something totally different. It is a funny, touching, story about a boy growing from a kid-through adolescence (where I am now) and what may come next. I have learned a bit about what it is like to be a teen-age boy-more than I learned with 3 brothers, two husbands and two sons! When I have finished, I can give a complete evaluation-but so far-I think it is truly great.

Gail I did read this book, Tea Rose and the other one that is part of the same story. Neither are great literature but they are truly good reads in that they move along very well, are escapist, beleivable, and quite engrossing.
