i'm not sure if I'm the only one, but i like it when a children book, or at least one written with the young children in mind is a good read for an adult as well, this sorta bring families together, for those children and parents who like to read. something they can read together and discuss... although i have no kids of my own, this book seems fit for the adventurous child. Right off the bat, there are elements of secrets, and mysterious tests.

It is told from the point of view of Renyie, who is an orphan child genius. He sees an advert in the paper about taking some sort of a test and sets about going to it. From the moment he started the test, his life changed forever.

there is a book two, which i'm thinking of reading as well.
