Originally read July 2005

Re-read in 2007, finished July 16, 2007.

Re-reading this in preparation for the final book coming out SATURDAY. I have had many philosophical/theological conversations about this book -- it had to end the way it ends, otherwise it isn't about Harry. I still cry though.

This book is required to get between book 5 and book 7. It has the problem of being "all middle," but is still worth reading (and need be read to "get" book 7). I'd figured out a crucial detail about horcruxes in book 7 by the time I finished book 6...but I wouldn't have believed it until I read book 7.

Re-reading before I see the film TOMORROW!
