I picked this book up last year after listening to the author on NPR one morning. There are many many individuals in their 40's and older who have never actually been diagnosed with Asperger's since it wasn't recognized until the early 1990's. I found this memoir to be humorous and very informative. What many people take as selfishness, lack of empathy, social ineptitude (the list goes on and on)is actually an inability to pick up on social cues, body language, facial expressions, and the ability to empathize.

The author picks fun at himself and I found myself laughing as he tries to acknowledge and improve upon his ability to better relate within his various relationships.
