Comparatively, this *seems* like a fairly good introduction to Derrida, as opposed to, say, "Introducing Kant" which went little beyond biography and was confusing (I mean Kant is already confusing but Introducing Kant was just stupid). I have read a whole bunch of these; in fact I am getting rid of my collection of these on Friday and there were a couple I wanted to revisit. What I'm saying is that I read this before, in High School, when I was conceptually excited about Derrida but for some reason never bothered actually reading primary texts by him.

This made a lot more "sense" to me this time around, and I appreciate that. I still haven't read any of Derrida's primary texts yet, despite owning five. I am fully competent that I am now *ready* though.
