I think I saw somewhere it is about 100 pages. Shew...there is a lot in those pages. Terrific lead characters. Amber, sweet, totally out of her depth, but as with some great romance reading, she meets that guy at just the right time.
A quote I wrote down....Tony Mazzara had a dazzling smile. Like a toothpaste commercial dipped in a porn movie.
I laughed out loud at that one. I could not help but think that if they had met at another time in either of their lives, perhaps they would never have come together. Perhaps either one of them would have been too afraid of the other. But the perfect timing. Like the perfect storm. Brings it all together.
Classic Ruthie dialogue. Fabulous story. I am glad it is leading into more stories. But even if it weren't, this is how a short story should be done. As always, Ruthie has an amazing cover.
PS--Hope you aren't afraid of the dark.
