This book had me when it was talking about grief. I felt like it was real and engaging, but then God got there. I am all for "alternative" images for God and I think Young did a good job with that, but for the most part it was pretty cheesy and formulaic. I did however like some of the language about forgiveness, not that I believe it wholeheartedly but at least it provided some language to start the discussion.

Also, I'm glad that I have read it because so many of the people I work with have and now I can have an educated conversation with them.
