Hooray!! I loved "Tipping Point" but "Blink" was so forgettable, I read ½ of it twice, not remembering I'd already started it once and given up. With "Outliers", Gladwell returns to the incredible mishmash of industries, disciplines, and narratives that made "Tipping Point" a great read. Looking at both our cultural perspective of success and the realities of what factors contribute to success, this is a very interesting read – particularly for those who cast a wary eye at America's love of the "rags to riches" story. Certainly those stories happen – but there are countless hidden factors influencing where and when those kinds of stories are even possible. Love this book. Praying that the next is this good. If I re-read this one, it will be because it was fascinating, not forgettable.
