Short but sweet review: I didn't love it. Not nearly enough meaningful connection to the over-arching Potter mythology. The Dumbledore commentary/footnotes are interesting enough but the allegories didn't grab me. It took me a long time to read the short book. Much longer than it normally takes me to run through the Potter novels but these stories aren't nearly as plot driven.

Only recommended if you're hardcore Hogwarts, I guess. That's a harsh review, though. It's not unpleasant, it's just not really for me.
