Told from the persepctive of Harry's brother, Thomas, this short novella is a nice chance of pace for "The Dresden Files." While it won't be essential to read it to enjoy the on-going storylines about Dresden, it does give readers some new insight into Thomas. Also, the concept of having a story in the universe told from a different point of view is interestind and Jim Butcher really runs with the concept.

Now I'd love to see a novella told by Karin Murphy.

Jamie Collins I like the Harry Dresden books, and his stories in various anthologies have been fun. But $20 seems a little pricey for a "novelette" (Amazon says it's 72 pages printed in large font including a few pages of illustrations). I'll have to wait for a much cheaper copy of this, or borrow a copy. But I'll look forward to reading it.

Michael I got mine from the local library. One of the librarians is a big Butcher fan and ordered it. :)

MB (What she read) I'd like to see Karin's novella as well.

Sandi I've only read the Dresden Files book, but I'd like to hear Murphy's story too.
