really liked it

it is a testament to how great this book really is that camille paglia resented (see 'sontag bloody sontag) the writer's departure from the subjects here treated with great erudition: pop culture. this is brilliance, pure and simple, unmatched in her latter, more mature work. the seminal "notes on camp" alone is worth every cent one spends on this book.
