all i can say is.. i can totally relate to the book when i read it.. :p
the book tells a story about a young girl whose old flame was rekindled when she met her long lost friend. unfortunately, the friend is a would-be priest. it's funny when sometimes people do illogical things when it comes to love. she knew the consequences of falling in love with the man, of how her heart would be broken, and yet she was unable to stop herself, and continued to love him anyway.
Here are some of my favourite quotes from the book :
"A fall from the third floor hurts as much as a fall from the hundredth. If I have to fall, may it be from a high place."
"But love is much like a dam; if you allow a tiny crack to form through which only a trickle of water can pass, that trickle will quickly bring down the whole structure and soon no one will be able to control the force of the current."
